My 1st video where I talk about my paintings.

I just put together a really short video, walking through some of my paintings and talking a tiny bit about what types of canvas I use and how I prep them.

  1. Susan it's fun to see you do a video! No need to be nervous, it was nice to get to 'know' you through it.

I especially love your new one that you showed at the beginning

  2. Aww thank you, yeah I think being the first video i have ever done like that probably natural for a private person like myself to feel that way, but I plan on coming out of my shell slowly and doing a few more videos when I have time.

  3. Hi Susan! Great video! And listen to that Aussie accent--luv it! ;) I've never used canvasses, only paper...but thinking of trying it. (I want to do a special painting for my mom to hang over her fireplace.) Thanks for the helpful prep tips! ~Carol

  5. Hi Carol, thanks dear, can you tell how embarrased I was doing that video, I will get over it for the next one, but I felt like I was talking to myself and I sound super tired (sleep deprivation) glad the tips were helpful to you. Doing the several layers and sanding back makes a huge difference. You can also buy varnish mediums to paint over the work at the end to give it extra protection esp if it might be exposed to some elements - perhaps wth the fireplace. xx
